DataBlast 2.14 helps you work faster and with greater confidence by simplifying everyday tasks, improving data consistency, strengthening analysis tools and reducing the manual effort required across blasting, reporting and field workflows.
The move to Microsoft .NET 8 provides a modern platform foundation, while bundled runtime prerequisites make installation more straightforward. Across DataBlast, faster property editing, more reliable screen refreshes, better pane resizing and improved date and time controls help you stay focused without repeatedly correcting layouts or re-entering information. SQL Server connection improvements also make it easier to find, configure and reconnect to databases, while smarter file dialogs reduce navigation time and prevent files from being directed to protected installation folders. Improved hole pattern exports, including searchable columns, drag-and-drop ordering and more logical Hole Identifier sorting, help you prepare cleaner, more consistent data with fewer manual adjustments.
Enhanced CAD, initiation and cost tools give you clearer information and more flexible outputs. The new CAD library updates the underlying CAD capability, while improved Viewport printing helps printed meshes better reflect what you see on screen.
Vibration analysis tables can now be exported separately, making it easier to share, review and process only the information you need. Timing contour arrows provide an immediate visual indication of blast direction, helping you interpret timing behaviour more quickly. In Blast Costs, adjustable zoom and CSV-based product cost updates make reviewing and maintaining pricing data more efficient, particularly when working with larger cost sets.
The expanded custom property tools give you greater control over data quality, calculation logic and reporting. The Expression Editor now shows the value resolved for each field, including Null values, so you can identify and correct calculation issues more quickly. Drag-and-drop insertion, syntax highlighting, grouped functions and persistent search filters make expressions easier to build and maintain, while additional functions support more complex operational requirements. Fixed-value lists, numeric limits and interval controls help prevent invalid entries at the source, and the ability to publish selected custom property values to the reporting database makes more operational information available for analysis.
BlastPad improvements reduce interruptions during loading activities by allowing operators to select stemming trucks as secondary equipment and load aggregate products without changing activities. Clear prompts help ensure the correct equipment is selected when required.
The DataBlast Ignite demo database now includes electronic initiation examples, helping you explore and demonstrate these workflows more effectively. More broadly, updated demo database templates improve exported data ordering by sorting on Hole Identifier by default, and refreshed CAD and report templates provide more consistent, current branding.
