Minemax Scheduler 7.9 helps you build, manage and scale large mine scheduling projects faster, with bulk process editing, a redesigned interactive decision tree, more flexible reporting and export options, Enterprise Edition collaboration improvements, and smaller project storage requirements.
This release focuses on making complex project setup more efficient. You can now select multiple processes and add, modify or delete attributes across them in one operation, as well as update process-level properties such as process type, delayed recovery and reporting-only settings in bulk. The decision tree diagram has also been redesigned so you can drag processes directly onto the canvas, automatically position new processes, splits and joins, and produce cleaner layouts with the rewritten auto-layout engine.
Reporting and export workflows are now more flexible and targeted. You can filter key reports and exports by location, including pits, pit groups and other locations, across the Schedule, Attribute, Dump, Movement, Pit and Trucking Table reports. A new per-period schedule export format creates a separate block row for each time period, while stockpile definitions can now be exported to CSV for easier review and sharing outside Scheduler. You can also import the CSV back into Scheduler to generate stockpile definitions, including their initial inventory, and filter the Stockpile Movement Table by process and attribute for more focused analysis.
Performance and scalability have also improved, with database schema changes and compressed model storage reducing project size on disk so Professional Edition can store larger projects than before. Additional usability improvements include more reliable Excel copy and paste behaviour, updated action icons with larger and more consistent sizing, and clearer database upgrade progress feedback.
For Enterprise Edition, Minemax Scheduler 7.9 supports concurrent optimisation of two scenarios, helping you evaluate alternatives more productively. New project edit modes give you better control over collaborative access, with Exclusive, Model read-only and Read-only options available when opening a project.
