The SABLE® 7.4 release delivers several new features and enhancements focused on improving data validation, visualisation, and process automation across your QA/QC workflows.
This release introduces the ability to track Certified Reference Material (CRM) performance over time, helping you monitor trends in key statistical metrics and assess the stability of CRM across multiple sample batches. To support faster decision-making, a new colour-coded evaluation system lets you configure limits per analyte and unit of measure to flag outliers in the Data Explorer grid, enhancing visibility for any numeric field.
A new Spatial QM Service provides powerful 2D and 3D visualisation tools for interpreting and validating geoscientific data, supporting improved project planning and communication. Additionally, the new ETL Mapper enables you to define and manage XML or CSV templates for importing lab and survey data, simplifying integration from external sources.

To strengthen QA/QC processes, SABLE now writes back automated QA/QC status updates into ETL clearing tables using outputs from the Statistical Analysis Tool. Batches containing outliers are flagged with a WARNING validation, providing greater transparency and control. The release also adds the ability to view ETL clearing tables directly within the SABLE strip-log interface, helping you visually validate batch sampling data against logged geology and assays.
Other notable updates include an auto sign-off feature in the Audit QM report tool that verifies data completeness against defined rules before external exposure, and a new Depth Alignment Tool that allows geologists to align geophysical depths with lithological intervals—streamlining core loss or gain adjustments and improving interpretation accuracy.
About SABLE®
SABLE® is a scalable geoscientific database management system that delivers a Standardised Approach to Borehole Logging for Exploration and Evaluation, trusted by geologists, strata control officers and samplers for over 40 years to ensure data integrity by enforcing data standards. SABLE ensures data quality through adherence to international standards and best practices. This is achieved through its core functionality and a variety of customisable additional services, which ensure compliance with international mineral codes (for example, SAMREC, NI 43-101, JORC) and ICT compliance frameworks, such as segregation of duties (SoD) and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). The customisation in SABLE allows for the implementation of your standard operating procedures (SOPs) through governance, without compromising the integrity of the geoscientific data. With SABLE, you can be confident in the accuracy and reliability of your geoscientific data through its trusted quality management (QM), quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) data governance principles.
