Discover for ArcGIS Pro 2.2 Update 4 introduces a new import option for Scaniverse data, Legend Editor enhancements, and support for selecting multiple sections in the Section to 3D Image tool.
You now have more control when importing Scaniverse data, with a new option that allows you to override the elevation values embedded in the Scaniverse header. By using the ground layer from your output local scene instead, you can ensure your scans align more accurately with your existing projects. This streamlines workflows and improves consistency across spatial data sources.
The Legend Editor has been refined to make legend creation more intuitive. All related dialog windows—such as those for creating legends from defaults, structural legends, domain values, map symbology, or drillhole tables—are now centred on your screen when opened. This simple change keeps your workspace tidy and helps you focus on building and managing legends efficiently.
The Section to 3D Image tool has also been enhanced to support the selection of multiple sections in a single operation, removing the need to repeat the process for each section. This aligns with how other section tools in the application work and saves considerable time when working with complex projects.
Improvements have been made to tools introduced in previous Discover for ArcGIS Pro 2.2 versions, including the Machine Learning tool and Georeference 3D Image tool.
