Supervisor 9.1 introduces a series of practical enhancements and user-requested improvements, all while maintaining the familiar workflow and ease of use from previous versions. As with previous updates, all changes are designed to streamline your experience and improve compatibility with other Datamine tools.
A new “Rotate Data in 2D” tab makes it easier to work with rotated block models by clearly showing if a model has been rotated and what transformations are needed. This helps ensure that all data, including drillholes, can be correctly aligned for validation or analysis, even when using the local coordinate system of an imported Datamine block model.
DirectX redistributables are now embedded in the installer, removing the need for a separate DirectX 9 runtime installation. Additionally, the default installation path has changed to C:\Program Files\Datamine\Supervisor for new installations, while upgrades from version 9.0 will retain the previous path. When opening and saving a version 9.0 project in 9.1, users are now warned that this will break backward compatibility, and it is recommended to save the updated project under a new name to preserve the original.
