Production Accounting 2.0 introduces a modernised logsheet interface and powerful new analytics capabilities—two major enhancements designed to make data entry, review and reporting faster, clearer, and more actionable.
The redesigned logsheet interface delivers a more intuitive and efficient experience, tailored for production and metallurgical teams who need to enter, validate, and analyse shift data with confidence. You can now select a date range to view data for multiple dates or periods on one screen, filter by section or subsection, and transpose the data grid layout to suit your preference. The streamlined edit pop-up improves data accuracy with clear validation for numeric and text values, and includes audit comment enhancements that save time. Your most recent audit comment now auto-fills when entering multiple values in the same screen, helping you maintain consistency while reducing repetitive typing. Audit comment rules can also be configured per logsheet—comments can be optional, always required, or required only when edits fall outside a defined time window, giving you greater control over audit compliance. Also included are real-time data update notifications, adjustable column widths, updated icons, and a consolidated pop-up for audit and quarantine details—all designed to streamline your workflows and make data analysis easier.

Production Accounting Analytics is a stand-out addition in this release, giving you access to interactive dashboards and near real-time reports that present key metrics visually. Whether you’re identifying bottlenecks or tracking plant performance, these new tools offer deeper insights at a glance. For more advanced analysis, the Data Service Excel Add-in lets you link Excel to your production report data and build custom reports using system analytics.

Behind the scenes, Production Accounting 2.0 also brings improvements to mass balance calculations, with enhanced handling of non-numeric values and more informative diagnostics. Configuration workflows benefit from clearer Calculation Engine error messages and better support for mass balance model management. System administrators will also appreciate new features that help manage database size and storage, including configurable log retention and cleanup settings for audit and logging services. This release also sets the foundation for future localisation and language support, with updated architecture to enable user interface translations in upcoming versions.
If you’re upgrading from an earlier version, the legacy logsheet interface remains available, but configuring modern logsheets and the new analytics features requires support from a Datamine consultant. Be sure to get in touch with our team to plan your transition.
