Studio Geo 1.1 includes enhancements to Dynamic Modelling, digitising tools, and data interoperability, making it easier for you to build geologically accurate models, manage complex data inputs, and streamline design workflows.
Categorical implicit modelling is now fully integrated into Dynamic Modelling so you can represent massive, irregular ore bodies and cross-cutting intrusions within a single model. The Configure Domain task has been refined to offer the modelling choice of categorical or vein, and it is possible to combine different surface types in a single workflow (grade shell integration is coming soon). Still on the modelling side, you can now manage domain lists more efficiently, colour various modelling elements for better visualisation and control contact surface resolution for greater output precision.

Core system improvements include important new import functionality to bring in Leapfrog® mesh and project model files, with the flexibility to load full datasets or selected mesh elements. Drag-and-drop is supported for these formats, ensuring quick visualisation directly in the 3D view. You can also import multiple file formats and types in a single operation, with Studio working out which driver to use for each file in the batch. This makes importing reference data from multiple sources really quick and easy.
Otherwise, COMPDH supports more ZONE fields and categorical domain tracking and common Studio ribbons have been standardised to improve familiarity across products. Geo also gets our new digitize-doughnuts command as well as a preview of our advanced digitising controls, arriving in 2026.
Your data security is a priority for Datamine, so new security measures have been implemented for scripting and we now supported encrypted licensing traffic, keeping your corporate data safe from malicious actors. Data protection remains our key priority as we start ramping up for the release of MineTrust-supported applications arriving in 2026.
