For the 2024.2 release, Aegis has focused on connectivity and user accessibility.
You can now import data from Deswik DUF files reducing the need for lengthy file import and export. We have designed and implemented a new import wizard to streamline the process. Simply save as a DUF and go.
You can now control remote drill boundaries with our new criteria selector, which allows for greater flexibility in meeting safety reporting requirements. You can define custom criteria using labels, solid types, and classification to make sure that your reports look exactly as you need them to.
Native solid manipulation has been added into Aegis. You can now cut, clean, and trim your solids inside of Aegis Designer. These new tools enable easy overbreak and underbreak calculations, as well as a straightforward solid editing process. Get the solids you need quickly!
We have added additional support for users wishing to create blast ring outlines using their planned blasts. This process uses our well-established ring creation algorithm to let you define custom shapes for each blasted ring that can be combined into a single solid. This provides more flexibility to model blast shapes with atypical dilution patterns and uneven footwall/hangingwall overbreak.
You can also selectively rename rings by the right-click menu in the ring table. This should drastically reduce the amount of rework required if a new naming convention is implemented during the design phase.
