The big news for Studio Mapper 3.2 is level maps. A common approach to mapping steeply dipping ore bodies, you can quickly and easily define map bounds in world coordinates, then import survey data and drape field-captured information before creating an automated level map report.
Capture structures and create lithological zones that can be draped either to a horizontal plane or to the undulations of the survey data, meaning your level mapping data is finally useful for downstream modelling – only Studio Mapper does this! Level maps can be defined to a known planning extent or can adjust automatically based on the existence of newer survey data, which you are alerted to as soon as fresh field data becomes available.
This version also introduces map and map type swapping, extended configuration options for context-sensitive mapping attribute lists, Project Data control bar improvements and a new command to calculate geotechnical attributes.
Otherwise, there are several core improvements including new commands, vector data export improvements, custom coordinate transformations (and a new TRANSCO process) and data transfer improvements such as a vector data export overhaul and a Deswik® data driver.
