Production Accounting 1.14.0 delivers major improvements to mass balancing, plus enhancements to user authentication, data authorisation, installation and configuration.
The JKMetAccount statistical mass balance engine is now fully integrated into the core Production Accounting application, eliminating the need for a separate JKMetAccount Service. Upgraded to run on modern technology, the balance engine delivers significantly improved stability and responsiveness. Balances automatically recalculate when new data is imported, giving you faster access to accurate and up-to-date results.
Production Accounting data approval screens now display detailed warning messages when balances or calculations are pending and a reload button to refresh data. These user interface updates help reduce rework and make your data authorisation workflows more efficient.
For more flexible and secure user authentication, support has been added for Active Directory authentication types, such as LDAP Signing, Sealing (via Kerberos), and SSL. The system also resolves conflicts for users with both Active Directory and local Production Accounting accounts, ensuring a smooth user experience for authentication, access and permissions.
Installation and configuration steps are simpler and streamlined in Production Accounting 1.14.0. Database scripts and initial user creation for JKMetAccount integration have been improved, and more descriptive error logging in Production Accounting makes configuration troubleshooting easier. Email notification functionality now includes an SMTP method to enable additional testing during configuration.
