This release brings a new data storage format, user interface improvements, and finalisation of our photogrammetry features.
Sirovision now utilises the SQLite data storage format, which eliminates issues related to regional format variations. When you open existing projects from previous versions of Sirovision in the new Sirovision 7.6, they will be automatically copied and converted to the new SQLite format. This transition ensures a smoother and more reliable data management experience.
The user interface (UI) of Sirovision has been significantly improved to make your mapping and analysis tasks more intuitive and efficient. These enhancements are designed to streamline your workflow, allowing you to focus more on your projects and less on navigating the software.
In a major update, Sirovision’s photogrammetry features have been retired and all photogrammetry will now be performed through PixPro. (A PixPro license is included as part of your Sirovision licence.) This change marks a significant advancement in our technology, providing you with more powerful and versatile tools for your projects. Legacy projects can be seamlessly converted to the new project formats or imported as models in container projects, ensuring that your previous work remains accessible and usable.
