Isatis.neo 2025.1 introduces a range of powerful new features designed to make your geostatistical workflows more flexible, transparent, and efficient, with major enhancements in interpolation, simulation, data management, and Python integration.
This new release adds the Use local anisotropies option in Quick Interpolation, allowing you to apply local parameters for neighbourhood search. This ensures consistent comparisons between estimation methods by isolating the true impact of the chosen technique while fully accounting for local particularities and non-stationary anisotropies. Neighbourhood settings are now independent from the interpolation method, so you have full flexibility to adjust them as needed and ensure consistent comparisons between estimation techniques.

Simulation post-processing is significantly enhanced with new outputs, including the coefficient of variation, a Between two thresholds mode providing results like tonnage and benefit for defined intervals, and advanced uncertainty metrics such as relative-to-mean and relative-to-median errors, probability within tolerance, and tolerance width—ideal for Parker’s classification. In PluriGaussian Simulations, a new tool displays domain contact probabilities in matrix form, making it easier to define lithotype rules.

On the data management side, Isatis.neo now supports Datamine’s modern DMX file format for both import and export. With enhanced compression, full Unicode compatibility, and support for up to 2048 columns, this format is perfectly suited for today’s complex datasets and large simulation outputs. Additional usability improvements include the ability to convert variables into coordinates to change geographic reference systems, generate selection variables directly from picked samples in map views, and store error variables for all variables in a multivariate geostatistical set during cross-validation.

Finally, this version introduces early access to extended Python integration, allowing you to browse, read, extract, and update your Isatis.neo database even outside the software interface. This flexibility enables seamless automation, advanced analyses, and the creation of custom tools tailored to your workflows.
