Isatis.neo 2025.2 Public Release

GEOLOGY-Isatis.neo-2025.2

Isatis.neo 2025.2 delivers powerful new capabilities to streamline your resource modelling workflows, from faster imports to advanced upscaling, more flexible simulations, and enhanced 3D visualisation.

One of the standout additions is the Upscaling task, which lets you transfer variables between grids using methods like Moving, Fine-to-coarse, or Categorical. This tool allows you to generate a broad range of statistics, apply thresholds, and assess uncertainty, with full support for weighted and density-based calculations. Whether you’re processing estimation outputs or simulation results, you can now generate charts, export results, or store new variables to refine your models with precision.

The update also introduces a new Cross plot tool that makes correlation analysis quicker and more interactive. You can generate scatter plots directly from the ribbon or data tree, without opening the EDA module, and apply the same customisation options like axis swapping, log scaling, and trend lines. The tool handles large datasets efficiently by automatically switching to image mode when needed, giving you performance without compromise.

In modelling, the Grade Tonnage Curves and Tables task now better aligns with mining industry standards. You can adjust table text size for readability, work in megatonnes (Mt) by default, and use a new “Against main dataset” mode to link Metal values from your primary dataset, with automatic handling of undefined values. Additionally, Sequential Indicator Simulation (SIS) now supports a different geostatistical set for each lithotype, giving you more accurate and tailored simulation results for complex geology.

Visualisation also sees significant upgrades. The Picking Table, previously limited to 2D maps, is now fully integrated into the 3D Viewer, letting you inspect and compare data from multiple tables in one scene. You can easily add multiple variables to your selection view, and use the new Rectangular selection tool to interact with multiple drillholes or points at once. Combined with improvements to Vulcan file imports, now up to 10 times faster thanks to NumPy-based optimisation, these updates make working with large, complex datasets more fluid and scalable.
