This Studio NPVS+ release helps you work faster and plan more effectively, with integrated haulage optimisation, simpler data import, safer scripting, improved documentation and several workflow enhancements.
The new haulage integration connects Haulage Analysis with the Scheduler, so you can calculate cycle times and truck hours in the same optimisation step as scheduling. This helps you reduce peak truck fleet requirements and delay fleet expansion while still meeting scheduling targets. New context-sensitive help is also available for the Haulage Information screens.
Data import is now quicker and more flexible. You can load or import multiple files in one operation, including mixed formats, and Studio now supports Leapfrog mesh and Project Model files as wireframes. Drag-and-drop support for these formats makes it even easier to bring data into the 3D view.
This update also improves security and usability. A safer scripting method replaces older ActiveX behaviour, with tools to update existing scripts automatically. You will also see more consistent ribbon layouts across Studio products and a refreshed, activity-based help system that makes information easier to find and use.
A range of command updates are included as well, along with an early-access digitising enhancement for new-string and extend-string. These new controls let you constrain length, azimuth and gradient while digitising, helping you create design data more efficiently and accurately.
