Production Accounting 2.2.0 Public Release

Production Accounting 2.2.0 introduces enhanced modern logsheet navigation, continued user interface improvements, more flexible CalcNet calculations, faster calculation processing, and greater control over email notifications.

Modern logsheets receive two notable usability upgrades in this release. The Audit Log pop-up now includes an All tab that displays audit, quarantined and rejected items together in one reverse-chronological list, making it faster for you to review recent activity for a particular value without switching between tabs.

Date selectors have also been improved. The calendar can now be configured to operate at day, month or year level, with previous and next buttons that step through ranges accordingly. Your selected start and end dates are also remembered across logsheets for the duration of your session.

The broader Production Accounting user interface redesign continues with a refreshed layout for the Email Configuration screen. Alongside the visual update, you can now enable or disable all automated email notifications for an environment using a single Email Enabled toggle — a practical option when, for example, you want to turn off notifications in a test environment. Quarantine email registrations also gain a new Quarantine Notification Type setting, letting you choose whether a registration sends notifications for held data, rejected data, or both, with a corresponding QuarantineType token available for message templates.

CalcNet now supports variable multidimensional parameters for aggregation operators such as AVG, SUM, MIN, MAX and others when used in link aggregations, accumulations and sliding aggregation expressions. This means you can write calculations across multiple tags and periods in a single expression without being constrained by a fixed argument count. The CalcNet database queue has also been redesigned to reduce thread blocking and improve calculation performance, with the queue implementation and thread pool size configurable in the Bootstrap.config file.

This release also includes a number of defect fixes, covering a threading issue between the PA Framework and PA Core components, several modern logsheet display and translation issues, a quarantine email Batch Time validation fix, and API security enhancements. Full details are available in the release notes.
