Studio Geo 1.2 adds new Dynamic Modelling capabilities to help you work faster and present results more clearly, alongside broader performance and interface improvements across the Studio range.
You can now use Grade Shell Modelling in Dynamic Modelling to assess and display grade packets more easily, with editable default shells such as Q25, Q50 and Q75 and direct access from the ribbon.
The new Separated Solids option also lets you control and display domains, fault blocks and outputs independently, making it easier to review model components without stepping outside the workflow.
A new Rotate fill direction option helps contact surfaces follow the orientation of rotated block models, improving alignment with drillholes and structural trends. Dynamic Modelling also now includes Resolution controls for output contact surfaces and support for multiple boundary datasets, with the option to use them as a union or intersection.
This update also improves performance in many everyday workflows, including faster Datamine file read and write operations, quicker COPY processing and faster Project Data updates. Alongside this, ribbons have been standardised across products, and the release includes constant triangulation, a new Logs ribbon, RocScience Dips export support, updated help content and continued documentation improvements.
