Studio UG 4.2 Public Release

Studio UG 4.2 introduces smarter planning capabilities, faster processing and 3D visualization, expanded MSO 5.1 optimization tools, and a range of usability improvements across design, data, wireframe and interface workflows.

This update brings further enhancements to its Haulage Network tool and now the haulage network dependencies automatically identify links between drives and stopes, significantly reducing dependencies setup for complex underground schedules. Planning workflows have also been improved with advanced derived activity controls, FXS profile-wall alignment, a refreshed Dependencies screen, clearer dependency labels, faster Studio UG to DTS synchronization and better validation for design strings.

Even complex level networks with multiple secondary drives are automatically mapped

MSO 5.1 now provides all capabilities from the legacy MSO, with full support for Prism framework, testing and conditional simulation tools, room and pillar stope splitting, Level ID mapping and improved online help. The new MSO automatically converts legacy MSO scenarios, making it as simple as possible to migrate!

Significant performance improvements make key processes such as ADDMOD, COPY, COMBMOD, DILUTMOD, SLIMOD and REBLOCK, MODTRI, COMBTRI and others faster and more reliable, with no changes required to existing macros or workflows.

The 3D window performance is now also much improved after a range of optimizations have been made, while the new Create Multiple Sections tool lets you generate and save parallel or string-based section sets directly in the 3D environment.

Extensive changes have been made to how Studio UG displays 3D graphics to accommodate complex data and demanding visualization settings

You will also find new and improved commands for wireframes, DTMs, key field support for Boolean design commands, strings, outlines, along with simplified selection settings, multi-overlay management, standardized ribbons and continued documentation updates.
